5.5

Installing the cPCI-3915 to the Chassis

To install the cPCI-3915 module to a CompactPCI chassis:

1. Refer to the chassis documentation before installing the

cPCI-3915.

2. Turn off the power in both chassis front and rear.

3. Assign a system slot for the board. Make sure you

assign the correct slot.

4. Remove the panel cover opposite the slot you want to

use.

5. Align the top and bottom edges of the board with the

card guides on the chassis, then push the board until it is
completely flushed on the chassis.
