1.9 Power Instruction

AD1000 uses following power supplies:

Ø

AC adaptor (Connect to standard outlet – Indoor use only)

Ø

Li-ion rechargeable battery (Auto power supply when AC adaptor is

unplugged)

Ø

Battery dock cover must be closed properly when AD1000 is working.

Ø

AC adaptor and battery power supply can be switched without affecting

operation

Ø

After AC/DC power adaptor is connected, built in Li-ion battery will be

automatically charged.

When only using Li-ion battery as power supply, following situations may

cause AD1000 automatically power off or dysfunction

Ø

The battery power indicator displayed on LCD screen will turn red (Low

battery) when the battery power is insufficient and AD1000 may

automatically power off.

Ø

If unused for a long time, AD1000 may not power on properly, please

connect power adaptor and recharge the battery.

1.10 Use of Rechargeable Battery

Ø

Battery for AD1000 is Lithium rechargeable battery.

Ø

4 hours for full charge

Ø

When AD1000 is charged by AC/DC power adaptor,

indicator on

the front panel will turn red and turn green after charge is complete.

Ø

When AD1000 is powered on and being charged, LCD will also indicate

charging status.
