OPERATING AND USER MANUAL QUARTZ series CXP
33
The actual exposure time is:
TriggerWidth mode
•
ExposureTime
= cc1_pulse_ Emin
Timed mode:
ExposureTime = ExposureT Emin
•
SynchControl mode:
ExposureTime = Frame_time; Latency of Emin
•
TimeTriggeredControl Mode:
ExposureTime = ExposureT Emin
•
The camera automatically checks the specified exposure time. When the set value of IT is too large for
the current frame period time, the integration time is limited to the maximum possible value.

The camera is equipped with strobe output signal on the I/O connector. It can be enabled in two ways
by the FlashStrobeMode parameter:
When set to Automatic, the flash strobe will follow the exposure time. At the
1.
start and end of exposure the state of the strobe will change. Note that the flash
strobe response does have some delay, as indicated in section 3.2.
When set to Programmed, the flash strobe duration is programmable and it can
2.
be delayed with respect to the start of exposure. The duration and delay are
programmable with FlashStrobeDurationRaw and FlashStrobeDelayRaw, respectively.
Note that the flash strobe response does have some additional delay by itself,
as indicated in section 3.2. Also, The flash strobe cannot extend after the end of
exposure, i.e. if the sum of the delay and the flash strobe duration exceeds the
exposure time, the strobe will be terminated at all times at the end of exposure.
The flash strobe polarity is configurable by FlashStrobeActiveState, in terms of NonConducting
or Conducting. Refer to section 3.2 for the electrical design of the flash strobe to see what
NonConducting or Conducting translates to in the application.
