2.6. Starting the product with a magnet
Once configuration of the product has been completed and its installation finalized, the product is ready to be started.
The product is started using a magnet placed on the upper part of the product (cf diagram below). The magnet must be kept in position for a
minimum of 6 seconds in order to confirm start-up of the product.
Once the SIGFOX PULSE validates its start-up, it immediately transmits status frames followed by a data frame (according the defined periodi-
city).
The SIGFOX PULSE does not have an external LED showing its status. To make sure the product has started properly, we advise placing a data
receiver close to your product before start-up with the magnet. You can then receive the start-up frames and confirm that your product is opera-
ting properly.
IMPORTANT NOTE 1
: once the SIGFOX PULSE has started, it can no longer be switched off.
• Finish installation by tightening the compression gland nut.
