GadgetGateway Serial Interface

[1] Configured

[2] UnConfigured

Go Conﬁgured:

Select [1] to make the device go into the conﬁgured state. In manual mode

the default state for a new device is unconﬁgured. This menu allows you to make the node

go conﬁgured and become operational.

Go Unconﬁgured:

Select [2] to make the device go into the unconﬁgured state. This

allows you to temporarily (while unconﬁgured) disable the device or stop forwarding

without changing the forwarding tables.

4.10 Redundant Twin Conﬁguration Menu

Redundant twin mode is an optional capability and is not available on every GadgetGate-
way Router. select [R] from the GadgetGateway Main Menu and press ENTER. If the fol-
lowing prompt is displayed then this node does not support redundant twin mode. Contact

Adept Systems about activating redundant twin mode capability.

A brief overview of Redundant Twin Mode and a diagram are given in Section 3.9.

To access the Redundant Twin Conﬁguration Menu for nodes that support it, select [R]

from the GadgetGateway Main Menu and press ENTER. The following menu will be dis-
played.
