ADDAC SYSTEM
MAXIMUM ACTIVE GRAINS & CPU OVERLOAD
CPU overload will cause undesired audio glitches and drastrically slow down the module’s responsive-
ness. In this firmware revision we introduced a method that automatically reduces the number of
active grains in order to keep the CPU at a safe level.
CPU WARNING:
In order to monitor the CPU state whenever the CPU
goes above 90% a warning message appears on the
top right corner
GRAINS ACTIVE VISUALIZATION:
(New)
The number in this area will always show the grains
active setting set by the knob and cv input, although
there will be times when, for example, if the user
reduces the ammount of grains, at these times while
the number shown already reflects the control
changes there will still be grains playing.
When this happens the area colors will invert
showing a white background and black number,
going back to the regular color state once the grains
setting matches the active grains playing.
This also happens when are automatically reduced
to avoid CPU stalling.
CPU USAGE:
(New)
The small bar rising vertically represents the CPU percentage in Y axis
