At the load center (in the end chamber), set AC circuit breakers CB2 and CB3 to ON. These circuit breakers 
provide AC power to the left and right rectifier modules, respectively.

At rectifier module No. 1, set the DC OUTPUT and AC INPUT circuit breakers to ON. Verify that (only) the 
rectifier module No. 1 AC ON/RFA LED is lighted green.

Allow the rectifier module to operate for 10 minutes (minimum) to ensure that the rectifier has stabilized.

Using a DMM, measure the rectifier output voltage. At the terminal strip at the left side of the DC Distribution 
Panel, connect the DMM (-) lead to a -48 Vdc terminal point and (+) lead to the RTN terminal below an 
installed circuit breaker as shown in 

Figure 39

.

Measure the air temperature in the area of the battery temperature compensation module. Using the chart in 

Figure 40 on page 45

, find the correct float voltage, for example, -54.5 Vdc at 77°F (25°C).
