6. Further information
The SOFTLUX range has been manufactured in accordance with CE marking regulations and is
suitable for operation on standard 50 Hz, 230 V to 250 V star type electrical supplies with Phase,
Neutral and Earth connections.
The product is compliant with the following standards:
• 72/23/EEC Low Voltage Directive.
• EEC CE Marking Directive.
• EN 60598-1 General Requirements and Tests.
• EN 60598-2-17 Special Requirements for Stage, TV, Film and Photographic Luminaires for
Professional Applications.
• EN55014 EMC
• EN55013 EMC
• EN61000-2-4 EMC
• United States Institute of Theatre Technology DMX512/1990 Lighting Control Protocol.
The SOFTLUX range comprises of 2, 4 or 6 tube units in 55 watt versions (other versions on
special request).
