2.6 Troubleshooting

2.6.1 Action Table in the

Event of a System or

Component Malfunction

This section contains troubleshooting information. This information covers only the most
common problems that you may encounter. If you cannot solve the problem with the
information given here, contact your local ADB Airfield Solutions’ representative for help.

incorrect or wrong frequency type

Check for the proper transformer size and replace with
the correct transformer

Wrong fixture installed

Replace the fixture

Improper color

inner lens broken

Replace inner lens

inner lens not installed or wrong color

Short lamp life

Current too high (series circuit
applications)

Calibrate the CCR

Cracked lens or base assembly

Replace the broken assembly. Clean and reassemble the
light fixture.

Component Failure

Replace the failed component. Check for a cause of the
failure and repair or replace any defective components.
