2.2.7 Theory of Operation
This subsection describes the L-854 Radio Control Equipment theory of operation. Refer to
Figure 2.
2.2.7.1 General
The L-854 has three major components: the Radio Control Board (44A6748), the Radio
Display Board (44A6746), the Radio Power Supply Board (44A6749), and the Radio Relay
Board (44A6747).

2.2.7.2 Terminal Block
See Table 4. The L-854 Radio Control Equipment terminal block is used to interface an air-to-
ground Radio Control Equipment with an L-821 control panel, interface panel or direct to an L-
828 constant current regulator (CCR). The CCR control voltage can be 48 V dc or 120
Vac.
