Viewing and Managing Your Backup Files

Rebuilding the Backup Database

Caution:

This is a very advanced function. Unless there are

severe

database corruption problems, Adaptec recommends

that you do

not

rebuild the backup database.

To rebuild the backup database:

Open the Tree view, following the instructions in

Viewing Your

Backup Files

on page 5-2

In the

Tools

menu, select

Advanced

, then select

Rebuild

Database

When prompted, confirm the rebuild. The backup database is
rebuilt.

Rebuild time depends on the size of the backup database,
network speed, processor speed, and other factors.
