2.5 FIRE SAFETY
The materials used in the components and the design are selected so that when oper-
ating under normal load, the temperatures do not exceed safe values. In the System, construc-
tive solutions are used to reduce the risk of ignition and flame propagation in accordance with
IEC 60950-1 (section 4.7).
2.6 MECHANICAL SAFETY
The System complies with technical standards EN ISO 12100:2010, EN ISO
14119:2013, EN ISO 14120:2015, EN ISO 13850:2015, EN ISO 13857:2008, EN ISO 13849-
1:2015 in terms of mechanical safety and the requirements of the
All easily accessible edges, protruding parts, corners, holes, protective devices and similar
parts of the System are smooth and rounded, ensuring no injuries to personnel and the inspected
person under normal operation of the System.
When the System is operated, the following dangerous situations can occur:
−
risk of stumbling;
−
risk of getting caught on the wires.
2.7 INFORMATION SAFETY
BE CAREFUL WHEN CONTROLLING THE MOTION OF THE
SYSTEM MOVABLE PARTS. WHEN THE MOVABLE PLAT-
FORM OR THE CONVEYOR BELT IS MOVING THE INSPECTED
INDIVIDUAL SHOULD STAND ON THE PLATFORM OR THE
CONVEYOR BELT BETWEEN THE FRONT AND THE BACK
WALLS OF THE PORTAL WITHOUT TOUCHING THEM (SEE
FIGURE 5.1).
ALTHOUGH ALL WIRES ARE LOCATED OUT OF THE OPER-
ATING AREA, BE CAREFUL WHEN MOVING NEAR THE SYS-
TEM.
After taking the System into operation, the manufacturer is not
responsible for the integrity, security and safety of information
and supporting infrastructure (information resources, software
and equipment that are part of the scanner workstation) in the
event of any action (accidental or intentional ) on the part of
personnel or third parties, if these actions are not provided for
by the operating documentation for the System and the
equipment included in it and may lead to information, software of
security loss or damage or to damage of the System which is
part of the AWS equipment.
