4 SETUP PROCEDURES
4.1 STARTUP
Before switching on the System, please, carry out daily maintenance in accordance with
the item 6.3.1.
When using an operator’s stand
Enable the System and the Operator’s Stand following the sequence below:
1) Ensure the System is connected to the mains.
2) Insert the key in the key switch 3 (see Figure 4.1) on the Operator’s Stand and turn it
clockwise until it stops. Press power button 2 to enable the System (see Figure 4.1).
Power indicator turns green then.
Operator’s stand switches on automatically after powering on the System.
After enabling the workstation stand computer and entering the operating system, the
operator’s program will start automatically.
3) Warm up the X-ray generator in case it has not been used for a long time and the “WARM
UP NEEDED” message appears in the Operator’s program. Perform the warmup proce-
dure following the Control Software Complex Operator's Manual.

Before starting the operation, check the ambient temperature in
the room where the System has been installed. If the temperature
is below +10
°
C, heat the room to the operating temperature (see
section 7.3) and season the System for at least 2 hours. Then
enable the System and warm it up for a minimum of 30 minutes.
