Heated Seal Replacement
To replace the seal first remove the insulated container (Chapter 6). Then pull the
heated seals wires through the inner wall from the compressor housing into the
drawer cavity and disconnect the Bullet connecters; this disconnects the heating
element from the 12v power supply.
Pull the seal out of the retaining channel in the lid and replace with a new seal (Push
seal into corners of the retaining channel first for alignment). Reconnect the Bullet
connecters and pass back through the Inner Wall into the compressor housing to
prevent it snagging on the drawer or runner when closed.
On completion of seal replacement the lid height should be checked refer to Chapter
19.
