Appendix G:

Removal, Replacement and Installation of an Aculab

Prosody X Card

NOTE

If you are installing an additional Prosody X Card, you will need a new
H.100 bus cable with an extra connector.

Before starting:

•

Close the windows operating system and power down the system.

•

Isolate the chassis from the power supply by disconnecting all power supply

leads.

•

Wait for the fans to stop.

CAUTION

Observe electrostatic discharge precautions when the chassis is open and
before handling components. Do not touch the gold plated connectors
while removing or installing a card.
