12VDC using Cat5E cable (Green Cat5E spec cables with RJ45 connectors & cable boots)

NOTE:

Do not use a battery and 12VDC power supply at the same time.
This type of set up will prevent the zone controller to show battery
replacement reminder. Please use good quality batteries when it
comes time for replacement.
