1.0 RECCOMENDATION
Read carefully this manual before use; keep this manual near the filter.
After packaging removal, verify filter integrity and the presence of all items (see paragraph
2.6
). In doubt consult your
supplier.
The Builder declines any responsibility for damages to thing and people derived by non compliance with instructions
given in this manual and local applicable installation regulation, general guidelines and technical specifications.
The final user should only check for ordinary maintenance: cleaning filtering cartridge. Replacing of damaged parts is
allowed only using original spare parts (see Building Company).
The filter is provided with a label with: identification number, production year and month, and Building Company data.
Warning!
This equipment must be subjected to regular maintenance to ensure that water maintain its
characteristics of potability.
Warning!
Cleaning and self cleaning filters are not equipped with anti-flooding systems or other devices suitable
to detect not controlled water losses from the filter (e.g. opened discharge) or from other parts of the
installation.
2.0 GENERAL
2.1 INTENDEND USE
The filter can be used to filter water for civil and industrial hydraulic systems and protects the piping from damage
caused by small amounts of impurities such as sand, silt, rust oxides. The filter is equipped with a pressure reducer
that lets you adjust the pressure downstream thereof, in a range of values ranging from 1 to 6 bar. The maximum
diameter of particles retained is 2 mm.
The filter is not suitable for handling large amounts of water with sand and silt.
If impurities larger than 2 mm and/or large amounts of sand and/or large amounts of silt are present in the water a
filter should be installed upstream.

Filters can not be used for the filtration of water containing chemicals pure or in solution (acids, bases,
solvents, soaps, etc...) Filters can not be used for the filtration of water closed-loop heating and cooling.

2.5 STANDARD PACKAGING
The filter is packaged in a cartonboard box.
