„ Low level alarms
Indicate that the patient’s vital signs appear abnormal
and immediate treatment may be required.
2. The oximeter’s technical alarms can be classified into
two categories of severity: medium level alarms and
low level alarms.
Caution: The technical alarms cannot be
changed by the user.
4.3 Alarm Indicators
When an alarm occurs, the oximeter will indicate it
through the following signals:
‹ Alarm tone: The speaker on the rear panel of the
oximeter will sound the alarm in different tones,
according to the severity of the alarm.
‹ Alarm lamp: The alarm lamp on the front of the
oximeter will flash a different color and speed,
according to the severity of the alarm.
