SERVICING - SERVICING
1. General
A. The left and right main fuel tanks can be gravity fueled through the over-. wing fill
adapters located approximately 10 feet inboard of each wing tip. Procedures for gravity
fueling the left and right main tanks are identical.
B. The center and forward auxiliary tank fueling is accomplished by using the right main
tank boost pumps to pump fuel through the defueling line and fuel fill valve, and into the
applicable tank fill line, (see
Figure 303
).
C. Fuel tank capacities and acceptable fuel specifications are shown on the fuel system
replenishment chart, General Servicing.

NOTE: Equivalent substitutes can be used instead of following listed items.

3. Gravity Fueling
WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE RADIO, RADAR, OR ANY OTHER
ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT ON AIRPLANE
EXCEPT AS SPECIFIED.
RADAR AND HIGH-FREQUENCY EQUIPMENT OPERATING IN
VICINITY OF AIRPLANE DURING FUELING OPERATIONS IS
HAZARDOUS.
MAKE CERTAIN FUEL SUPPLY UNIT IS GROUNDED AND
THAT CABLES TO AIRPLANE GROUNDING CONNECTORS
ARE PROPERLY CONNECTED.
CAUTION:
MAKE CERTAIN FUELING SOURCE CONTAINS PROPER FUEL
GRADE AS SPECIFIED BY ENGINE MANUFACTURER. SEE FUEL
SYSTEM REPLENISHMENT CHART, GENERAL SERVICING, FOR
ACCEPTABLE FUEL SPECIFICATIONS.
