Take “Small Bites”

behind the hub of the peel-
away introducer. This prevents
the catheter from buckling
during insertion.
Do NOT Touch Inlet or
Outlet Areas
While feeding the Impella
®
Catheter through the
introducer, hold the catheter
at the cannula or motor
housing. Do NOT touch the
inlet or the outlet areas.
