10 Troubleshooting

9.1 Weekly cleaning

Unscrew the cable assembly on the machine side and bring it into a stretched position.

Unscrew retaining nut and pull out guide spiral liner or PA liner.

Clean wire feed hose from both sides with compressed air.

Slide adjusted guide spiral liner or PA liner into wire feed hose and secure with retaining nut.
9.2 Monthly cleaning
Oil all moving parts and roll bearing with suitable lubricating oil.
9.3 Quarterly cleaning
Check and clean both air filters in the E-Box, replace them, if necessary.

11 Dismounting
Dismounting may only be carried out by specialized personnel. Please make sure that the shutdown
procedures are strictly observed, before the dismounting work begins. Ensure this also for the components
integrated into the welding system.
WARNING
Risk of injury
Serious injuries caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning the wire guide with compressed air, wear suitable protective clothing, in particular
safety goggles.
NOTE
• Some problems are listed below, with descriptions of possible causes and solutions. If the measures
described below are not successful, please consult your dealer or the manufacturer.
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding components, such as power supply,
compressed air line.

• M-Drive safety switch not actuated

Wire is not fed • Motor defective (master or slave)
Motor control card fault: Fault cannot be eliminated
by pressing RESET trigger.
• When the wire feed trigger is pressed again, the
motor control card shows again a fault
• Switch unit to currentless state
• Change motor
• Press RESET trigger
• Replace feeding system or motor control card
• Replace feed motor or motor control card
• Wire fault in cable assembly or master drive
