1 Identification
The cleaning station
BRS-CCi
is used in industry and in the trade for automatic cleaning of the gas nozzle
interior of MIG/MAG welding torches. The
BRS-CCi
serves as a preventive measure to extend the service
lives of the torches and the maintenance intervals. The frame construction consists of cast aluminum which
includes the pneumatic valves. These operating instructions only describe the cleaning station

. The

may only be operated using original
ABICOR BINZEL
spare parts.

hereby declare that, on the basis of its design and construction, the present product described in these
operating instructions complies with the basic safety and health requirements of the EC directive. Any
modification not agreed with us will void this declaration.
1.2 Responsibilities of the User
Within the EEA (European Economic Area) the current version of the national implementation of the
Framework Directive (89/391/EEC) and the related individual directives and, of these, especially Directive
(89/655/EEC) concerning the minimum safety and health requirements for the use of work equipment by
workers at work must be adhered to. In Germany, the Job Protection Law and the Company Safety
Ordinance must be heeded. In addition, the operator must ensure that the product in combination with
welding devices complies with the EC EMC Directive (2004/108/EC) and that the signal utilization of the
integrated welding current monitoring against stray currents is installed properly.
2 Product Description
2.1 Designated Use
The cleaning station
BRS-CCi
is designed for automatic use. The cleaning station forms part of the welding
system and may only be operated in it. Designated use also includes the observance of the prescribed
operating, maintenance and servicing conditions.
2.2 Use contrary to the designated use
Any use other than that described under "Designated Use" is considered contrary to the designated use.
Unauthorized conversions or power increase modifications are not allowed.
