Energising the terminal

(QHUJLVLQJWKHWHUPLQDO
When the terminal is energised the window on the local HMI remains dark. After 10
seconds the green LED starts flashing and after approximately 30 seconds the window
lights up. After another 10 seconds the window displays ‘Terminal Startup’ and after
about 30 seconds the main menu is displayed. The upper row should indicate ‘Ready’.
A steady green light indicates a successful startup.

If the upper row in the window indicates ‘Fail’ instead of ‘Ready’ and the green LED
is flashing an internal failure in the terminal has been detected. See the self supervision
function in this chapter to investigate the fault.
After startup the appearance of the local HMI should be as shown in figure

Terminal energised. Liquide Crystal Display (LCD) is dark.
