Assembly of the Signal Cable

Cable Specifications

The signal cable between the flowmeter primary and the converter has the following specifications:

Two outer shields

1. Remove the signal cable insulation for approx. 80 mm (remove 50 mm at the flowmeter primary side).

2. Cut the woven shield to a length of approx. 15 mm

3. Remove cable drain wire and foil shield.

4. Remove cable insulation and attach cable conductor sleeves.

5. Wind shield core around woven shield.
