34 Operation
1. Enable the local control mode of the control panel by pressing the Loc/Rem key (1).
2. Press the Stop key (2).
The motor stops according to the preset stop function and the drive stops modulating.
When the motor has reached zero speed, the drive is in state
Stopped and the display
shows .

Hazardous voltages!
The ACS580MV is not de-energized in the state Stopped . Before doors are opened /
removed or work is begun on the drive, the system must first be de-energized (see
Chapter
Maintenance , Shutting down the drive for maintenance ).
