The air-cooled PEX430 is constructed on a multi-layer single Eurocard and conforms
to the dimensions specified in the VITA 46.0 and IEEE 1101.1 and IEEE 1101.2
specifications.
The Conduction-cooled PEX430 is constructed on a multi-layer single Eurocard and
conforms to the dimensions specified in the VITA 46.0 and IEEE 1101.1 and IEEE
1101.2 specifications.

Reliability (MTBF)
The following table shows the predicted values for reliability as Mean Time Between
Failures (MTBF) and Failures Per Million Hours (FPMH) as calculated for a
PEX430-10000.
The predictions are carried out using MIL-HDBK-217F Notices 1 and 2, parts count
method. To complement the 217 failure rates, some manufacturers’ d
ata is included
where appropriate;
Q values have been modified according to industry practice.
