7 Warranty and liability
7.1 Warranty
AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH assumes the warranty for one year from
the date of purchase for its products, type vertical lift (with the exception of
the lead batteries) and all accessory parts that they are free of material and
processing defects.
AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH assumes a warranty of 6 months from the
date of purchase for the lead batteries; however, always provided that they
have been properly maintained.
The warranty of the vertical lift does not cover damage caused by:
•
improper or insufficient maintenance by the client.
•
unauthorized constructional changes or inappropriate use of the de-
vice.
•
use with exceeded maximum load.
•
improper charging of the lead batteries.
•
natural wear parts (chain guide rails).
•
damage caused by excessive strain.
•
damage caused by negligent use.
•
forced damage.
7.2 Liability
The manufacturer AAT Alber Antriebstechnik GmbH is not liable for potenti-
al damage caused by:
•
improper handling of the vertical lift.
•
assembly or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
•
use that does not coincide with this user’s manual.
•
extraneous parts attached to or connected with the vertical lift.
•
removing parts of the vertical lift.
•
exceeding the maximum load.
