Switch off the c-max U1.

Press the release button and

pull battery pack off by the

handle.

Connect the charger.

Note by the manufacturer:

The charger automatically changes over to trickle charge mode once the battery pack is fully
charged. To compensate for the self-discharge of the battery, the purpose of the trickle charge
mode is to keep the batteries in a fully charged state. The LED is lit green during the trickle charge
mode.

Pull splash guard off .

NOTE - Protect the charger and voltage converter against oils, greases, aggressive cleaning

agents, thinning agents or damage.

NOTE - Observe the user manual for the charger/voltage converter.

NOTE - Deep discharge results in loss of capacity and a reduced service life.

NOTE - Before sending the batteries (repair, disposal, etc.) pack the battery pack securely. No

special cardboard packaging is needed.

NOTE - Do not charge the battery near heat-sensitive or ﬂ ammable materials.

Recommendation: Remove the battery from the charger for long-term storage (or non-use). Carry out regu-
lar trickle charges at intervals of 1 month, then remove the battery from the charger again.

New batteries only reach their full capacity after several charging cycles. The batteries are mainte-

nance free and rechargeable.
