6  Starting up

i

   NOTE  -  Store the c-max U1 in a frost-free environment for at least one hour prior to start-up to 

avoid malfunctions or defects. 

i

   NOTE  - Press UP/DOWN switch only a few seconds after switching on!

5.3  Inserting the armrests

   DANGER  -  The armrests must not be loaded only on one side as there is a risk of tipping over!

   DANGER - Do not attach any objects (such as bags) to the armrests. Risk of tipping over!

   WARNING - Never sit on the armrests or use them as carrying handles as they are not de-

signed for this purpose. 

 

   WARNING  -  While using the c-max U1, the occupant's arms must not extend beyond the arm-

rests!

   CAUTION - Pay attention to the pinch point on the groove of the hinge to avoid injuries when 

inserting the armrests.

   NOTE  -  The armrests must not be loaded with more than 90 kg per side.

Insert armrests   on both 

sides.

The armrests serve as lateral restraints and may be used as a support for the arms.

Check whether the locking 

pin has been fully inserted 
into the groove of the hinge.

To remove, carry out the steps from chapter 5 in reverse order.
