The handsfree mode function activates the loudspeaker and the microphone. Make
sure the hands-free microphone is not obstructed. The sound quality is improved if
you set the volume of your phone to a low setting.
Muting the microphone
In the middle of a call you want to talk briefly with other persons in the room without
your call partner hearing your conversation.
You can switch the microphone on and off during a call, regardless of whether you are
using the handset, headset or handsfree system.
Using a headset
To make a phone call with the headset.
If you answer a call in headset mode using the Loudspeaker key, the call is provided
on the headset. Alternatively you can also answer the call by picking up the handset.

Answering/ending a call in handsfree mode:
Answer: Press the loudspeaker or the line key.
End: Press the End key.
Handsfree during a call:
1. Press the Loudspeaker key.

Open listening is activated.
2. Put the handset on-hook.
➔
Handsfree is activated.
To continue the call with the handset:
Pick up the handset.
➔
The loudspeaker and hands-free microphone are now deactivated.
Ending a call:
Put the handset on-hook.
Switching the microphone on and off during a call:
Activate: Press Microphone key.
Deactivate: Press the Microphone key once again.

Microphone is activated/deactivated, the LED on the Microphone key
flashes/does not flash.
