BE IN GOOD CONDITION AND CLEANED REGULARLY TO REMOVE ACCUMULATED
CREOSOTE AND ASH. CLEAN AT THE END OF THE HEATING SEASON TO MINIMIZE CORROSION DURING SUMMER MONTHS.

IF THE FIRE GOES OUT DUE TO AN EXTENDED POWER OUTAGE

LET THE UNIT COOL

REMOVE THE ASHES WITH AN ASH VACUUM
3.
FILL THE BURN POT WITH APPROVED BIOMASS FUEL
4.
ADJUST THE THERMOSTAT TO A SETTING ABOVE THE ROOM
TEMPERATURE
5.
APPLY A GELLED FIRE STARTER APPROVED FOR BIOMASS
APPLIANCES AND LIGHT
6.
SET SWITCH TO “START” UNTIL THE BIN AUGER ENGAGES
7.
SET SWITCH TO “ON” AND ADJUST THE THERMOSTAT AS NEEDED
CERTIFIED FOR SERIES CONNECTION TO THE OUTLET ONLY OF AN OIL FIRED, GAS FIRED, OR ELECTRIC FURNACE
MAY BE CONNECTED TO DUCTWORK THAT IS STILL CONNECTED TO
ANOTHER FURNACE.
MAY BE ADDED ONTO AN OIL, GAS, or ELECTRIC FURNACE HAVING AN INPUT
BETWEEN 34,000 to 120,000 Btu/hr AS SHOWN ON THE NAMEPLATE OF THE
OIL, GAS, or ELECTRIC FURNACE.
DO NOT CONNECT DUCTWORK SO A REVERSE FLOW IS POSSIBLE.
OPERATE THE OIL, GAS, ELECTRIC FURNACE PERIODICALLY TO ENSURE IT
WILL OPERATE SATISFACTORILY WHEN NEEDED.
DO NOT RELOCATE OR BYPASS ANY OF THE SAFETY CONTROLS IN THE
ORIGINAL FURNACE INSTALLATION.
DISCONNECT ELECTRIC POWER TO BOTH FURNACES BEFORE SERVICING.
