Network Settings
Follow the instructions in this chapter to configure the Basic and Advanced settings for the device.
9.1
Configuring Basic Settings
In the
Basic Settings
interface, you can configure common parameters, including TCP/IP, DDNS,
PPPoE, Port, and NAT, etc.
CONFIGURING TCP/IP SETTINGS
TCP/IP settings must be properly configured before you operate the camera over a network. The
camera supports both IPv4 and IPv6. Both versions can be configured simultaneously without
conflicting with each other, and at least one IP version should be configured.
Steps:
1.
Enter TCP/IP Settings interface: Configuration > Network > Basic Settings > TCP/IP

Configure the basic network settings, including the NIC Type, IPv4 or IPv6 Address, IPv4 or IPv6
Subnet Mask, IPv4 or IPv6 Default Gateway, MTU settings and Multicast Address.
