Adding an V-Series Camera to a 3xCLOUD Account

Click the
button to open the Settings menu.

Select the
Servers
icon.

Click the
button (not pictured above). This will deploy the
Add/Edit VIGIL Server
form. VISIX V-Series devices are considered edge recording devices, and thus are recognized as their own
VIGIL Server within the VIGIL suite, including 3xCLOUD.

Click the
By Serial No./Alias
tab to configure the Server with a VIGIL Connect alias. If using traditional
network connection criteria is desired, click the
By IP Address and Port
button enter in an
IP
and
Port
info
(if using standard network connection criteria, also ignore step 6 of these instructions) for the device.
6.
Enter the VIGIL Connect alias of the desired V-Series camera in the
Serial No./Alias
field (VIGILTest1 used
in the above example).
7.
Fill in all required fields and click
Add
to save the V-Series camera to your 3xCLOUD VIGIL Server list.
The V-Series camera should now be available to add to your 3xCLOUD layout. If you experience connection issues,
confirm the connection info (IP Address and Port/VIGIL Connect Alias) you entered is correct. If all settings appear
to be correct, contact 3xLOGIC for further instruction or reference
