If the sensor cannot be installed in the geometric center of the tank, try to pick a
spot as close to the geometric center as possible; that spot also must coincide
with the point where the tank’s height is at its maximum. This way you
minimize
the magnitude of the oscillations
in the level readings caused by the fuel’s
sloshing during the trips.
