CHAPTER 2

Sensor Design Considerations

You can install a 3M™ MicroTouch™ DST2270DX sensor on most large displays.
Although each particular display may have some unique integration considerations, the
basic installation process consists of the following steps:

•

Test that the display’s video works properly

•

Disassemble the display (if necessary)

•

Mount the sensor to the front of the display

•

Install the controller (internally)

•

Reassemble the display

•

Connect the display and sensor to your computer system
