Second barcode priority
–
The software is capable to read two barcodes at the same
time. If activated, the second barcode will be the barcode used for slide identification.
Notice:
When having two barcodes on the slide, barcode layout must be consequential.

Resize image
–
Label image is downsized to 1:4 before barcode reading.
•
Apply erode algorithm
–
The
Erode
algorithm is run before barcode reading. It is a useful
function for reading 2D barcode types since the algorithm completes the scuffed and
faded areas of the barcode by applying the morphological erode filter to an image. This
filter widens and enhances bright areas of the image.

Exclude check digit
–
Checksum value is ignored when reading
Interleaved2of5
and
Code39
barcode types.

Hosting
Hosting a live teleconsultation session gives specialists the opportunity to examine the
same Live microscopic image during a real-time counseling even if being in laboratories far
away from each other. This means multiple users can connect to the device at the same
time. The user of the scanner will be the host with direct access to the scanner.
Notice:
Both the client's and the host's Pannoramic® Scanner 3.0.4 control software version must
be identical.
Once client users have connected, they will be able to reach the following functions of
scanner:

Live image
•
Preview window
•
Profile content
•
Stage control.
Each participant can see the same live image within the same preview window. The active
user can navigate on the slide and set up a scanning profile. The
