Troubleshooting
This section describes the most common troubleshooting solutions for the Pannoramic®
products. If any problem arises that does not have solution in this manual, contact the
service personnel.
The product does not start.
•
Power supply is interrupted.
1.
Make sure that the 24V external power supply is on.
2.
Check cable connections.
Control software has stopped.
•
Name of currently selected slide for digitization already exists and is open in
Pannoramic® Viewer.
•
Close virtual slide in Pannoramic® Viewer.
•
Slide jammed
1.
Exit the Pannoramic® Scanner 3.0.4 control software.
2.
Switch off the power supply and disconnect the power cable.
3.
Remove the protective cover of the Pannoramic® DESK DW II. Follow the steps in
chapter
4.
Remove slide manually (see chapter
5.
Reattach protective covers.
6.
Connect power plug and turn power supply on.
7.
Launch the scanner
’s control
software.
Virtual slide is improperly focused almost across its entire surface.
