Follow the steps in this section to remove 3Com Dynamic
Access
Advanced Server
features
for your operating system.
Windows NT 4.0
To remove 3Com Dynamic
Access
Advanced Server
features:

From the
Start
menu, select
Settings/Control Panel
.

Double-click the Network
icon.

In the Network window, click the
Protocols
tab.

In the Protocols tab, select
DA Pass Thru Driver Transport
.

Click
Remove
.

Follow the prompts to remove the software and reboot the server.
Windows 2000
The Windows 2000 system does not allow you to uninstall the 3Com Advanced Server
technology miniport using the Device Manager. To remove 3Com Dynamic
Access
Advanced Server
features:

Launch the Windows 2000 Network and Dial-up Connections window.

Select a Local Area Connection icon.

Click the right mouse button and select
Properties
from the menu. The Local Area
Connections Properties window appears.

Click the General tab.

In the General window, select Dynamic
Access
Protocol and click
Uninstall
.
NOTE:
Note that removing the network driver does not result in the removal of
the diagnostics software. See “Removing the 3Com NIC Diagnostics Program”
on page 95.
