navigation systems that also receive messages when the ignition is
switched off. In individual cases, this may result in an activation of
the voltage sensor and therefore the Cadillock
®
Alarm and this may
lead to the alarm being sounded. In this case the voltage sensor
should be set to the lowest sensitivity level. In all other cases, we
recommend the factory setting on the medium sensitivity level.
Automatic lock mode
Automatic lock ON
Press the buttons
and
simultaneously and the confirmation
tone will sound three times to notify you that the Cadillock
®
Alarm
has changed to the “automatic lock” mode.
Automatic lock OFF
Press the buttons
and
simultaneously and a confirmation tone
will sound five times to notify you that the Cadillock
®
Alarm has
returned to the “manual lock” mode.
If the mute setting mode was activated by pressing the button ,
this setting is considered when the function “automatic lock“ is acti-
vated.
PLEASE OBSERVE:
Do
not
try to start the engine when the Cadillock
®
Alarm is activat-
ed, since this may lead to data loss, e.g. by the board computer, or
to error messages from individual control devices. If you would like
to start the engine for test purposes after the activation of the
Cadillock
®
Alarm, you will have to reset the lost data afterwards
(clock, radio, board computer, etc.) and in the case of a few new
vehicle models, you may also have to manually correct an error
message yourself or have it corrected by a specialized repair shop.
