BS-164 is a device that is used to drive
electro-valves from a fire detection panel
without using an external power supply.
I
t is powered from the panels battery.
F o r t h i s r e a s o n a s p e c i a l c a b l e , f o r
connecting the device with the battery, is
included in the packaging.
T
he device contains an indication LED
which is lit when the device is powered.
Figure 1 shows the connection via a BS-
615 between a fire detection panel BS-
1638, BS-1642, BS-1646 one BS-164
and four electro-valves BS-680. Using
this specific connection diagram the first
e l e c t r o - v a l v e i s c o n t r o l l e d b y t h e
d e t e c t o r s c o n n e c t e d o n z o n e 1 , t h e
second electro-valve is controlled by the
detectors connected on zone2,the third
electro-valve is connected on zone3 and
the fourth electro-valve is connected on
zone 4.

n the BS-636 panel we can connect
two independent devices with a common
power supply.
O

period of warranty is specified in the official
catalogue of Olympia Electronics and also in
the technical leaflet, which accompanies each
product. This warranty ceases to exist if the
buyer does not follow the technical
instructions included in official documents
given by Olympia Electronics or if the buyer
modifies the goods provided or has any
repairs or re-setting done by a third party,
unless Olympia Electronics has fully agreed
to them in writing.
Products that have been
damaged can be returned to the premises of
our company for repair or replacement, as
long as the warranty period is valid.

repair or to replace the returned goods and to
or not charge the buyer depending on the
reason of defection. Olympia Electronics
