and,  when  used  according  to  the  instructions  in  this  guide,  will  provide

Your drive is compatible with all  USB-capable Apple Macintosh computers 

running  MacOS  10.2.8  (or  greater)  and  PC-Compatible  computers 

running Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 2003.
