Access Point Mode
5.1 Overview
In Access Point (AP) mode your WRE6605 bridges a wired network (LAN) and wireless LAN (WLAN) in the
same subnet. See the figure below for an example.

5.3 Set your WRE6605 to AP Mode
By default, AP mode in the WRE6605 is configured with a static IP address. To set up your WRE6605 in AP
mode for the first time, the directly-connected router must have the DHCP server function enabled.

Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the
Ethernet
port on the WRE6605 and the other end to your
router.

You can connect wirelessly to the WRE6605 using its default SSID and password (in the product label)
and have Internet access.
