Chapter 5 Internet
To the Internet users, all virtual servers on your LAN have the same IP Address. This IP
Address is allocated by your ISP . This address should be static, rather than dynamic, to
make it easier for Internet users to connect to your servers. However, you can use dynamic
DNS feature to allow users to connect to your virtual servers by using a URL , instead of
an IP address.
Steps
1. On the main page of the ZXHN H168N, select Internet > Security > Port Forwarding
to go to the Port Forwarding page.
The page as shown in Figure 5-34 .

2. Configure the Port Forwarding parameters.
Table 5-16 lists the Port Forwarding settings parameters.

Parameter Description
Name Virtual host name, which cannot be null.
Protocol Protocol name, including TCP , UDP , as well as TCP AND
UDP .
The default protocol is TCP .
WAN Connection WAN connection that is used to access the virtual host.
