5. Change the camera settings.

Take a Picture
You can take high-resolution pictures using your phone’s camera.
1. Touch the
Home Key >
> Camera
.
2. Before taking the photo, you can use the zoom bar on the screen or use the
Volume Key
to zoom in on
your subject.
3. On the viewfinder screen, touch the flash button to select a camera flash mode depending on your
lighting conditions.
Warning:
Keep a safe distance when using the flash. Do not point the flash towards the eyes of people or animal.
4. Frame your subject on the screen.
Tips:
Hold the phone vertically when taking portrait shots or hold the phone horizontally when taking
landscape shots. You then will not need to rotate the photo after capturing it.
5. You can either let the camera autofocus on the center of the screen, or you can touch another area on
the screen that you want to focus on.
6. Touch
to take the picture.

Take a Panoramic Picture
You can take panoramic pictures using your phone's camera.
1. Touch the
Home Key >
> Camera
.
2. Touch
> Panorama
.
3. Frame one side or the other of the scene you want to include in the panorama. For example, if you're
photographing a bridge, frame the end of the bridge where you want to start you panorama.
4. Touch
and slowly start panning across the area you want to include in the panorama. In the
bridge example, pan slowly and steadily from one end to the other.
5. When you reach the end of your shot, touch
. The panorama appears immediately, and the phone
displays a progress indicator while it saves the image.
6. To view the image, touch the thumbnail in the corner of the screen.

to exit the panorama mode.
