Below the data usage graph, touch an app to see its data
usage during the current time cycle. You can touch
Restrict
app background data
to stop the app from using mobile data
in the background altogether or during roaming.
To restrict background data for all apps and services, touch

Restrict background data > OK
.
Touch
> Show Wi-Fi
to view Wi-Fi data usage in the WI-FI
tab of the Data usage screen.
If the Wi-Fi network you use is metered and large amount of
data may cost more, touch
> Network restrictions
and
touch the slider next to the metered network. Your phone will
then restrict background data on such networks and display
warnings before large downloads.
NOTE:
The data usage is measured by your phone, and your carrier’s
data usage accounting may differ.
Airplane Mode
In the Settings app, touch
More >
Airplane mode
to turn
airplane mode on or off. All the phone’s radios that transmit voice
or data are turned off when airplane mode is on.
