5.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
The maintenance has to be done by skilled personnel under strict observance of what prescribed
in this handbook.
Before doing the maintenance, please take all possible precautions.
Before doing a maintenance or performing a control, please clean always the work area, and make
use of suitable tools in a good condition.
Please clean the structure of the machine and the mechanism with a soft and dry cloth or slightly
soaked in a weak detergent solution.
Keep oils and lubrificating greases beyond the reach of the general public. Please, read carefully
the instructions specified inside the containers and stick to them. Pleas avoid any direct touch with
the skin and after use of machine please wash yourself.
Dispose of oils and lubrificating greases according to the laws in force in the country of utilization.
At the end of maintenances please make sure of intactness and of faultless working of all safety
devices.

Clean the area of support and sliding of toothed
belts with compressed area.
This operation should be carried out by the
machine operator;
please wear googles
.
Lubrificate the gearing chain, the articulated
joints, the bearings and bushing of wheels with
adhesive grease.
This operation should be carried out by the
machine operator;
please wear gloves and
goggles
.
Please control the state of the steel cable of the
lifting system in Buddy Lift - model.
This operation should be carried out by the
machine operator;
please wear gloves.
Please control the lacings, the buckle and the
snap-hooks of the belt to hold the load.
This operation should be carried out by the
machine operator;
please wear gloves.
Please perform careful controls on the feet of the
reducer screwed to the trolley frame, on the
gearing chain that has to be perfectly intact, on
the toothed belts that do not have to bear any
cuts, abrasion or superficial cracks.
This operation should be carried out by the
machine operator or by the manufacturer;
please wear gloves.
All the recordings and controls above described should be performed always before using
the machine. The company accepts no responsability for non-observance of these rules.
