3rd Phase: Descent.
The predisposition of the load follows the same procedure as for ascending phase.
Put the selector in position nr. "2" (=descending) and castors will be automatically positioned, in this
case, for discending. For loads higher than 100 kg, the trolley will descend automatically and the
operator does not need to keep the red button pressed. For loads lower than 100 kg the operator has
to press the red button only once and the trolley will do a complete cycle, that is one step.
If the operator is skilled with the machine it is possible to keep the red button continuously pressed,
but only making sure to keep the trolley always leant to the step. This device has always to be
fulfilled, both during ascending phase and descending phase.
4.5.
CONSENTED USE
Buddy and Buddy Lift trolleys have been projected to ascend and descend stairs with household
appliances, furniture and suchlike loads. It is absolutely forbidden to transport inflammable,
explosive, corrosive or dangerous loads to people, things and animals.
4.6.
NOT CONSENTED USE
With Buddy and Buddy Lift it is absolutely forbidden the transport of:
- inflammable loads,
- explosive loads,
- corrosive or dangerous loads,
- people,
- animals.
4.7.
OPERATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The machine has to operate in environmental conditions of normal practicability of workers.
4.8.
MINIMUM WORKING SPACE
A minimum space that allow the various manoeuvres has to be guaranteed around the machine
and if the load is handled.
4.9.
STOP MODES:
The machine stop is done by pressing the push-button with red head. Once the emergency state is
worked out, please turn the push-button clockwise to reactive the circuit.
4.10.
OUTAGE
4.10.1. Preparation for halt
In view of a long halt of machine outage adequate precautions should be taken to avoid any risky
conditions at the start. It is meant by a long halt a full period of outage longer that one month.
In the event of long periods of rest:
•
switch the machine off and turn the ignition lock key off;
•
press the red STOP-HEAD button ;
