Warning plate
The following plate showing an abstract of the instructions handbook with the main warnings
is put on the machine.
WARNINGS
1. Before making use of the trolley, it is very important to read carefully the instruction handbook
and to comply with the relevant rules for a safe and better use of the trolley itself.
2. ATTENTION: the trolley should be used exclusively to ascend and descend the stairs by
transporting household appliances, furniture and suchlike loads. It is absolutely forbidden to
transport inflammable, explosive, corrosive or dangerous loads to people, things and animals.
3. The stairs should be stout and rugged and suitable to stand the passage of the trolley at full
load and that of the operator under the highest safety conditions (take into account a trolleys
empty weight of 34 kg Buddy and 44 kg Buddy Lift - without battery). They also should be in
reinforced concrete or coated with no crumbly marble or with tiles and integral and allow to
have enough room to performed the required manoeuvres with the carried load. The user shall
take care of checking together, with the help of a skilled technician, if the stairs meet all the
requirements necessary for the type of transport.
4. The maximum height of step should not cause any difficulties to the operator in ascending the
stairs backwards or descending them and the maximum high of the step should also not
exceed 26 cm.
5. The buyer shall make sure that people authorized to the use of this trolley are suited to
implement accordingly the rules contained in the instruction handbook. However, the use of the
trolley should not be allowed to those who have not been previously informed on its use. The
company accepts no responsability for non-observance of these rules.
6. Do not use the trolley, before having checked its good conditions, at least the visible one.
7. Please handle and carry only household appliances, furniture and suchlike loads wich are not
overlapped and do not have height, width and depth sizes that may affect the stability of the
trolley (for dimensions and maximum capacity see table 1.2)
8. Do never handle more than the maximum prescribed capacity (120 kg or 160 kg depending
from the model), which is written on the alluminium plate on the trolley.
9. Fix always the load to the vertical structure of the trolley with the standard supplied belt tightly
and firmly.
10. It's absolutely forbidden to pass by, to stand at or close to the load.
11. Keep out any person from the manoeuvring area.
12. Wear safety footwear with metallic ferrule and anti-slip soles.
13. Please check periodically and if necessary let skilled personnel replace all the movable parts
with original ones, such as: belts, bearings, bolts, nuts, electric piston and so on; all fasteners
on the trolley, the toothed pulleys and the wheels.
