begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation, now
make 5 cycles of 30 chest compressions followed by 2 breaths
press patient's chest down fast
(metronome – 30 beeps)
give two breaths

** if the shock button is not pressed within 10-12 seconds the unit will pass to CPR step along with the
voice message “
shock cancelled - shock button not pressed
”.
