Position the chassis so that you can view the front of the chassis to view the vacuum
pump and tubing.
Disconnect the clear tubing from the black barb of the manifold.
Note: Take precautions not to crack or otherwise damage the clear tubing. If the tubing
is difficult to pull away from the brass barb, gently push it using the tip of a needle-
nosed pliers.

On the left side of the chassis, cut the tie wrap securing the two white tubes.
Disconnect the end of the white tube connected to the side of the manifold, then
disconnect the same white tube from the pump assembly on the opposite side of the
chassis from the manifold. remove the tube form the chassis.
Note: Take precautions not to crack or otherwise damage the white tubing. If the
tubing is difficult to disconnect, gently push it using the tip of a needle-nosed pliers.

On the left side of the chassis front, disconnect the end of the white tube connected to
the top of the pump manifold.

On the right of the chassis, disconnect the end of the white tube connected to the top
of pump assembly.
Note: Take precautions not to crack or otherwise damage the white tubing. If the
tubing is difficult to disconnect, gently push it using the tip of a needle-nosed pliers.

Turn the chassis so that you so that you can view the back of the chassis.
Loosen, but do not remove, the two screws (on the left) that secure the SAM board to
the chassis closest to the PIM board, and then disconnect the J1 PIM connector from
the J1 SAM connector.

Remove the four 4-40 x 1/4 screws holding the SAM board to the chassis.
Save these screws.

Tilt the SAM Module away from the chassis.
Disconnect the clear tubing from the 2-way valve.
Disconnect the pump connector cable bundle
Disconnect the wires connecting the SAM board to the 2-way valve
Lift the SAM board off the chassis.

On the right of the chassis, disconnect the end of the white tube connected to the top
of pump assembly.
Note: Take precautions not to crack or otherwise damage the white tubing. If the
tubing is difficult to disconnect, gently push it using the tip of a needle-nosed pliers.

Lay the chassis down so that you can access the bottom of the chassis.

Remove the screws that secure the pump assembly to the chassis
Save these screws.

Stand the chassis on its bottom, then remove the vacuum pump from the chassis.
